Chumba Cycles

Chumba Cycles is an Austin based bicycle company who specialize in creating steel framed adventure bikes for off road touring and bikepacking. The brand originally was a California downhill bike company that was purchased by an Austin mountain bike enthusiast. He brought the name and all of the assets to Austin and refocused for a different market. When discussing the needs of the new brand, he wanted to give a nod to the California roots so the Bear logo was born. The bear represented the strength, independence and ruggedness that the new bikes produced by Chumba personified.
