CDI

Contexts and Dependency Injection for Java EE (CDI) defines a powerful set of complementary services that help improve the structure of application code. I was asked to help design an identity for the CDI specification or “spec” in order to help give it focus. Since the spec functions as a common goal and works behind the scenes, the idea of a group of dwarves working away underground seemed an apt metaphor.
